Introducing Our Rivian Software Wishlist, Where Owners Can Submit and Vote on Ideas

We often hear about great software ideas for Rivian. Starting today, you can share yours on our new Rivian feature requests page, upload photos and vote for your favorites. Each month, we'll highlight the requests with the most votes and tag Rivian to help bring those ideas to its attention.

A Shared Software Wishlist

This is something we've wanted to build for a while, a place where Rivian owners can publish suggestions and find support from others. Alongside our coverage of Rivian software updates, the wishlist gives you a way to share what you'd like to see in a future release.

Submit an Idea and Add Photos

You can describe the feature you'd like Rivian to add and upload images to explain it. Your suggestion could involve navigation, charging, climate controls, entertainment or the Rivian app. Small changes to an existing menu are welcome alongside ideas for entirely new features.

Explain the problem, how your suggestion would address it and when you'd use it. A screenshot, mockup or photo can help other owners understand what you have in mind. Clear descriptions and useful images make your proposal easier to share and give readers more information before they vote.

Vote for the Features You Want

Browse the ideas other owners have submitted and vote for the ones you'd most like to see implemented. If someone has already suggested your idea, adding your vote helps show how many owners want the same change.

Rivian has previously discussed the role of owner feedback in its software development process. Earlier this year, Wassym Bensaid took to Reddit to discuss upcoming features and has said that customer input helps the team improve the ownership experience. We're hopeful Rivian will also browse this wishlist and consider the ideas owners support most.

First Monthly Roundup on December 1

Every month, we'll share the ideas with the most votes and tag Rivian to draw attention to those requests. Our first roundup will be published December 1, giving owners time to submit suggestions and vote before we share the results.

Head to our Rivian software wishlist to submit your idea, add a helpful image and vote for the changes you'd like to see.
